Annexure to: normal letter of our introduction

Letter of Enquiry for Grant making or Fundraising options in relation to the giving

Corporate Social investment Programs and initiatives.

Enquire of the designated person in the respective Corporate to kindly indicate their Grant Making policy under their CSI(Corporate Social investment) policy

1.) Kindly avail all data considered needed by persons as individuals, civil society and public society at large wishing to make use of application process to acquire any of the donor or grantmaking benefits they ,as applicants ,may qualify for.

2.) The corporate approached must be requested to kindly advise if the designated person responsible would like to receive any presentations and proposals in regards to making grants or assisting public and civil society with fundraising activities or donorship to the establishment in kind ,in money or in materials or in any way otherwise.

3.) Please verify focal areas of the corporate giving and grant making policy.

4.) Clarify if the corporate offers “seed money “or provides in any other way assistance to establishment & helping project proponents in acquisition of competent persons to team up with or assist with &/or to train co-leaderships and co –workers of NGO’s.

5.) Do they offer guidance in regards of preparations of strategy in regards of how to successfully approach & align the proposed NGO’s and corporate, i.e., the two parties to ends of mutual benefits.

6.) Do you donate /grant make in terms of other assistance e.g., the provision of old stock, old equipment or any old or written off inventory,, that would for example otherwise have been written off, materials, or redundant stock or other.

7.) Advise of funding range in monetary terms.

8.) Advise of closure dates in regards to submission and /or “due dates “and funding presentation dates that need to be satisfied and this being in particular relation to the terminations dates in regards to the financial year end dates in the accounting system used by the company.

9.) Advise if there is/are any specific preferences in regards to a types of kind of voluntary or NGO

10.) Also indicate any specific requirements that would assist them in tax compliance and any other limitations, as a precautionary measure, if there is any specific classification in terms of the Companies Act and or Taxation Laws Amendments Act,that would be better for the NGO.,NPO or CBO to attend to in the compilation of it’s Founding documents and Constitution of the aforesaid benefits organization.

11.) Advise if the potential donor has any specific “application pack” and a designated format of its application processing.
